The first thing you need to know about Legacy is that we don’t meet in a church building. We hold our weekly worship services in Carroll Elementary School on Legacy Drive, a half mile north of Main. While we plan to one day have our own building, being in a school reminds us that the message of hope and purpose is the most important part of being the church.
When you drive up to Carroll Elementary School, you will find lots of parking. Once inside the building, you’ll be greeted by friendly folks and have a chance to get some refreshments. We have space for Sunday School and for worship inside the school.
Worship at Legacy is casual and comfortable. Worshipers come in cargo shorts and Hawaiian shirts; in slacks and polo shirts. Some members come from work at the hospital in their scrubs. Children who have soccer games afterwards come in uniforms and cleats.
At Legacy, it’s not about what you wear; it’s about showing up.
